- Respect for others:
- Treat others with respect, kindness, and empathy.
- Do not use derogatory language or make inappropriate comments about others.
- Listen to and consider other people’s perspectives.
- Safety
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to the instructor immediately.
- Do not engage in any behavior that may cause harm to yourself or others.
- Follow all safety guidelines provided by the instructor.
- Integrity
- Do not cheat, plagiarize, or engage in any form of academic dishonesty.
- Be honest and transparent in all your interactions with others.
- Respect intellectual property and copyright laws.
- Responsibility
- Take responsibility for your own learning and progress.
- Be punctual and attend all scheduled sessions.
- Notify the instructor in advance if you are unable to attend a session.
- Professionalism
- Dress appropriately for the bootcamp and behave professionally.
- Use appropriate language and tone in all communications.
- Represent the bootcamp positively in all interactions with others.
- Technology Use
- Use technology provided by the bootcamp only for educational purposes.
- Do not use technology to engage in cyberbullying, harassment, or other inappropriate behavior.
- Follow all guidelines and rules provided by the instructor for the use of technology.
- Reporting concerns
- Report any concerns or incidents related to the code of conduct to the instructor.
- If the concern involves the instructor, report it to the appropriate supervisor or administrator.
- All concerns will be taken seriously and addressed promptly.
By participating in the tech bootcamp for kids, you agree to abide by this code of conduct. The bootcamp reserves the right to take appropriate action, including dismissal from the program, in the event of any violations.
