The innovative spirit and questions arising from young people is PHENOMENAL. In most cities children have began joining communities that are teaching them to code.  The culture of joining and building communities is getting stronger everyday.  Communities promoting technology seem to print something into the minds of kids or capture pupils more than what is thought is school curriculum.

We organised events and had the opportunity to talk with kids who proved with some enthusiasm their love for getting into computing. Learning from the very basics to draw arts with various tools.

One of the main reasons for the creation of NOKIDBEHIND is to bridge this same enthusiasm with the kids in the rural areas and we are doing so by starting to form school clubs. With school clubs students in the rural area will start to know the importance of community. The very slow ones will learn from the very smart ones and no one will be left behind.

We began talking to kids who spent their weekends creating some cars and other hand-works from various materials. This showed a sign if mentored they will be able to do the same thing using computer tools.

This alone is giving us the zeal to engage more than before in setting up computer labs in schools in the rural communities. If you are believer in the #NOKIDBEHIND we will appreciate your support for us. If inspired check out Get Involved page. You may also get us at our contact page.
